After golf, we felt our way along the twisty & turny coast to Monterrey to the Farmers' Mkt. We LOVE the lamb curry served by one of the vendors...the yummy homemade pies...the delicious fruit/vegetables...AND these exquisite handwoven baskets from Ghana. I did not get one this time but probably will next time. They are a bit pricey but, oh so beautiful. Plus, we do have that Africa connection. We found a free parking spot & walked a few blocks to Alvarado St.. Came home w/lots of delicious treats (esp broccolini) & a pecan tart for Wil, a rhubarb tart for me, which we managed to stretch for 3 meals. We are SO GOOD!!!

wow, those baskets are cool!
I just enlarge the photo, the basket by the car that's blues and greens stripes is awesome...guess I like the ones with the wider mouths. Hope you get one so I can see it!
