What is there not to love about dancing cowboys, bronc riding cowboys, bull riding cowboys, steer wrestling cowboys...oh, and an occasional pretty cowgirl riding by at 100 mph? I LOVE this event. Took us almost 2 hrs. to get here due to traffic, getting lost, & traffic. wil was kind enough to let me off at the entrance to the Salinas Rodeo Complex w/enough time to get the famous pulled pork sandwich & settle down for the events of the afternoon...nice sunshine & a cool breeze. In fact, we were both chilly. Can you imagine? In July???

Rodeo Salinas 100th Anniversary
