Cathy & I decided to celebrate Mother's birthday together. I flew up to Dallas Fri. afternoon & she, Mark & I went out for sushi (& a cowboytini...sort of like a manhattan/martini). DELISH!!! Sat. morning we walked & then to the Modern Art Museum for the sculpture exhibit (totally cool) & lunch at the museum, which was delicious! Then shopping for Cath's new chairs & coffee table. I had time to get a pair of pants next door at Talbot's! Home for dinner...trout on the grill a la Mark. SOOO good! We watched the A & M/Fresno State game...triple overtime...fantastic! I might become a football fan if I ever have time. We toasted Mother at dinner & said what we loved about her. On Sun. Cathy took me to the airport where I had a 3 hr. delay due to weather clsoing down the small planes. UGH! But I made it home safe & sound & had a terriffic visit. Can't wait to go back!
