Our CA Home

We have spent the last six or seven years in Carmel Valley, CA for the entire minth of July. This year is even more of a blessing than ever. I still cry nearly everyday but know this is okay. And Wil is so wonderful. He just holds me and tells me I will be okay, which I know to be true. It has been fun playing golf and being outside. This little view is the one from our patio overlooking the eighteenth fairway & green to the right. Kind of nice, huh? There is also a pond along this fairway and the bullfrogs are out every evening making their bullfrog noise. We sit out here late each afternoon with wine, cheese, and crackers...just talking or watching the fog role in over the mountains. It is so lovely. the temperature is in the 70's during the day, a cool breeze, warm sunshine.

I sure do hope it's OK to be jealous while I'm having my vision of you sitting there watching the fog roll in!

It brings back delightful memories of our time in Salinas (right next door to you) while Don was in the Army during the Viet Nam days. He was stationed at Ft. Ord very close by and we spent many days/evenings near the beach.

My how time flies!

Enjoy your month. Rest and relax.
