Golf at "The Ranch"

We started our day with Mass at the Carmel Mission for Mother...founded in the 1700's by Father Junipero Serra. As I remember, he is credited with founding most of the CA Missions & bringing Christianity to this part of the New World. It is very interesting touring this mission. Home for lunch & a nap. I'm not able to take afternoon naps like I used to but had a nice 30 min. doze & a half hour w/my book (Blind Assasin by Margaret Atwood...winner of the Booker Prize...still prefer Alias Grace). Then off for our 3:00 tee time at Carmel Valley Ranch(played 23 holes). Had a terrible first 3 holes but ended up with 110 (106 for Wil) so no complaints in the end... several pars for each of us. We have a new TV at the condo so, after cheese/wine on the patio & Rogan Josh for dinner, we settled down for about an hour of something...just to unwind & relax before bedtime. I finally got to work on my needlepoint. Computers are wonderful but it takes up about 2 hours of each day, which I am not liking.
